We’re looking for a talented Registered Manager to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of achieving and maintaining a “GOOD” or above CQC inspection rating.

The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager and based in a small residential home in Carlisle, as the Registered Manager you will be primarily responsible for the management of a small residential care home for elderly adult living with Dementia. You will be responsible to ensure that the home operates smoothly and effectively under the guidance of CQC standards and regulations. You will work in partnership with a competent Deputy Manager and senior members of staff to complete and oversees all managerial and compliance duties.

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

  • Following CQC guidelines and maintaining compliance
  • Working in partnership with various Health and Social Care professionals to maximise the quality of care that the residents receive
  • Playing a part in the recruitment of outstanding care staff
  • Writing and updating care plans

In addition, you’ll need the following:

  • A NVQ level 4 or above in Health and Social Care
  • Extensive knowledge of CQC standards
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of Dementia

  • Passionate about staff provide outstanding care and support to the residents
  • A confident individual that can have a positive impact on the team that you are responsible for managing
  • Knowledgeable about the DoLS
  • Confident in your ability to effectively manage emergencies and safeguarding matters
