You will be primarily responsible for a brand new childrens care service which provides education, care and therapeutic support to children and young people.
You’ll report to the Area Manager and will be tasked with the following:
- Team development and training
- Supervising Therapeutic Support Workers
- Assisting the Home Manager in day to day dutires
- Supervising staff
- Ensuring the environment is safe, encouraging and enjoyable
What experience do I need?
My client wants someone who’s got a background in managing a children’s residential care service. They’ll also need you to have experience of supporting and supervising Therapeutic Support Workers.
In addition, you’ll need a NVQ level 5 in residential childcare or equivalent.
You’ll also need to be the following:
- Able to encourage independence whenever possible
- An excellent communicator with strong record keeping skills
- Resiliant and able to cope under pressure
- Creative and supportive in your approach

What can I earn?
This Registered Manager position offers a basic salary between £37,000 – £38,000 per annum.
In addition you’ll get other benefits which include the following:
