Tell me more about the role…
You will be primarily responsible for the day to day running of residential home supporting 5 adults with learning disabilities, you will also supervise Team Leaders to ensure that regulatory requirements are across the services of responsibility. The role will also require you to work closely with the delivery team and quality improvement team to ensure the services are rated good or outstanding and organically grow the service.

You’ll report to the Area Manager and will be tasked with the following:

  • Monitoring training needs, ensuring that training and development needs are met
  • All things that are related to Scheduling/ Rota’s
  • Producing and presenting accurate reports and management information orally, written and using it

The standard working hours for this role are 40 hours per week.

What experience do I need?
My client wants someone who’s got a background in the development and delivery of high-quality services. They’ll also need you to have experience of financial management and budgeting.

Plus, you’ll need some experience of managing staff and volunteers including recruiting, inducting, and developing individuals and teams.

In addition, you’ll need the following:

  • Level 5 diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Relevant regulator for Registered Manager status and undergo commissions interview to determine suitability
  • Evidence of continued professional and personal development

You’ll also need to be the following:

  • Self-motivated, flexible, caring and organised
  • Able to meet the physical, mental, and emotional challenge of the role
  • Able to travel to services and national and local meetings and events
