You will be primarily responsible for running 2 houses, next door to each other, one being a learning disability service, the second a mental health service, based in Bristol.
You’ll report to the Regional Manager and will be tasked with the following:
- Recruiting, managing and developing staff
- Ensuring the safety and support of service users
- Liaising with CQC to ensure that standards and records are achieved
- Lead on the development, implementation and monitoring of the resident’s care plans to include liaising with the appropriate external professionals, agencies, and families
What experience do I need?
My client wants someone who’s got experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager who has managed a learning disability or mental health service.
They’ll also need you to have experience of working closely with CQC as well as recruiting, training and developing teams.
In addition, you’ll need a NVQ level 5 in care or willingness to complete, and you will need to be a strong leader and be someone with a natural ability to work with service users, families and external professionals.

This Registered Manager position offers a basic salary up to £35K per annum.
