We’re looking for a talented Registered Manager to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of managing a care home, ideally learning disabilities.

As the Registered Manager you’ll report to the Head of Care and will be primarily responsible for managing a children’s home of 6 people and take responsibility for the recruitment, training and management of staff, whilst ensuring the safety, well being and quality of care provided.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Promoting support and person centred care with all residents, esnuring that they can reach their potential
– Managing staff, including supervisions, training and progression
– Carrying out disciplinaries where needed
– Creating a positive working atmosphere
– Managing resources efficiently and coordinating staff contributions
The ideal candidate for this Registered Manager role will have relevant experience of managing a care home, ideally learning disabilities.
You’ll also need experience of:
– Following the quality standards associated with a care home
– Adhering to person centred planning
– Managing staff effectively to ensure guidelines are met
– Putting together, updating and following care plans
In addition, it’s essential that you possess a NVQ level 5 in care and knowledge of the children’s act 1989.
You’ll also need to be to promote positive relationships with staff, young people and families and be able to carry out pre and post admission assessments and care planning.

Basic salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Overtime: You’ll also have the opportunity to earn additional overtime in this role
