We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager who is nurse qualified to join a reputable company supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities.

The position:

The role will be to facilitate, manage and direct the delivery of all aspects of care to service users within the home, a residential service for adults with autistic spectrum disorder, Asperger syndrome and associated complex needs.

There are many duties involved in the role of Care Manager including:

  • Management of the care team and all aspects of the home within the agreed budget allocation.
  • Responsible for staffing of the home
  • Review of care and support plans
  • Carry out staff appraisals and supervisions
  • Networking with outside organisations
  • Spot checks
  • Budget and forecasting

The person:

The successful candidate will be an experienced Care Manager who is either RN/RGN or RNLD qualified with experience of working with service users with learning disabilities.

You will have experience of leading a team ideally in a residential setting. You will also hold an NVQ/Level 4/5 RMA or equivalent.
