Registered Nurse – Secured Private Hospital
Hourly rate £12.50 to £14.50
Located in Colchester
42 hours (long shifts)

An organisation that specialise in adult services in the Colchester area are looking for Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurses to join their team, working within a secured private hospital.

The Role;
The main remit is to ensure a high quality of care is delivered in a therapeutic environment.
Other duties Incorporated into the role are:
* To supervise and develop junior staff, Nurses and Support Workers
* To be responsible for the co-ordination, assessments and planning of patient programs of care
* Administer prescribed medicines and follow through with company’s policies and procedures
* To liaise with the head of care
* To adhere to all appropriate NMC guidelines and regulations
* Actively promote the hospital in a positive professional manner

The Person;
The successful person must have a current NMC pin number and qualified as an RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) or RNLD (Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities). It is essential that you a passion for working within the sector and have the ability to deputise in a clinical role and maintain staff rotas. You will need to be conversant with the Mental Health Act 1983 and understand the latest nursing practices.
