Senior Residential Worker – Children’s Residential
£16k and £18.5K (plus sleep-ins at £32)
The Role – our client is looking for Senior Residential Workers to join one of their new homes in the Telford area. The main responsibility is to ensure the overall day to day running of the shift and to support the Deputy and Registered Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
* To ensure that each young person is assessed alongside their care plan
* To make sure there is enough staff on shift
* To supervise all catering within the home
* To participate in the development of social activities for the children
* Able to work long shifts.
The Person – for this role you must have a passion for working within the children and have experience working within this sector. The successful person will need to be qualified to NVQ or QCF Level 3 in children and young people. It is desired that you drive and have your own vehicle. This role would also suit a Senior Care Worker or someone ready to step up to that position.
