Due to growth, my client is seeking a Sales Consultant to work from their office in Stratford, East London and take responsibility for all lead generation and appointment making for the external sales team.

The Role:

We are looking for a Sales Consultant who will be generating appointments with schools in order for the external sales team to attend the meetings, demonstrate the company’s technology solutions with a view to winning the business.

In the role, the Sales Consultant will focus on marketing the product; phoning and emailing schools and introducing them to the company’s technology solutions. You will need to identify the correct decision maker within the school and schedule meetings for them to see the product in action.

You will be reporting directly to the Sales Director so you must be a highly organised and efficient person with excellent IT, organisation and communication skills.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate for the Sales Consultant role will be:

  • Very strong in terms verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced in pitching to clients
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Empathetic and reliable
  • Good team player
  • Ability to perform under pressure

This role may be suitable for you if have a background in any of the following: Sales Consultant, Telemarketing Consultant, Internal Sales, Telesales Sales, Internal Account Manager, Tele-appointer, Sales Executive.

The Package:

The basic salary for the sales consultant role is up £22,000. In addition the company offers an OTE of £42,000 including 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, beer Fridays, auto enrolled Pension. This is a really exciting time to join the business.
