Coburg Banks currently have a brilliant opportunity to recruit a Sales Engineer who has direct experience of selling components to the Aerospace industry.

The Role

This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a manufacturer of fastening solutions who employ 2,500 people in 7 countries, sales subsidiaries in 28 countries and agencies in all developed areas around the world. Due to massive growth and demand for their products, this company now seek to recruit an experienced Sales Engineer with previous experience in the aerospace arena.

  • A tenacious individual residing somewhere between Bristol and Bradford and happy to cover the UK territory.

Despite this being portrayed as a sales role, in essence our desire is to find a person who is enthusiastic and mechanically experienced engineer with abilities to connect with people and leverage their expertise. My client can offer additional training on the sales activity if needed and can instil the core competency of engineering confidence. On this basis we do not position the bar based upon academic attainment and visible qualification, we are searching for an individual who has the required outlook, drive and desire to work within a closely knit, successful sales team.

My client is a German manufacturer of fastening solutions with a group turnover in 2015 in excess of half a billion Euro. 2,500 employees are engaged within manufacturing activities in 7 countries, sales subsidiaries in 28 countries and agencies in all developed areas around the world. The client’s main focus is to assist design engineers to overcome fastening issues by providing a technically robust solution which brings joint security alongside economies in assembly. This company sell the technical value of their products and not the price point.

This position will be suitable for a Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Applications Engineer or a Mechanical Engineer looking for a sales role.
