Sales Estimator –Commercial Glazing
C.30k basic plus car
Due to expansion, an Aluminium Fabricator and UPVC Window manufacturer are looking to recruit a Sales Estimator to manage and look after key accounts predominantly in the education sector.
Reporting to the Sales Director as the Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for securing around £2 million of sales to budget by maintaining regular contact with key contractors.
Follow up enquiries submitted by the estimating department for refurbishment and new build education and commercial projects.
You will establish the position of the offer to the client and a likely order date and on site requirement.
You will arrange a meeting for the Sales Director to attend to discuss the valuation estimate and final order.
You will visit key contractors and clients issuing reports and any future opportunities within these clients.
You will prepare quotations and liaise with fixing contractors in order to carry out surveys and agree any installation costs.
You will issue weekly reports at a meeting to the Sales Director outlining outstanding enquiries.
The role will require travel 3 days a week and be office based the other 2 days.
This is the ideal role for an experienced sales estimator, preferably from within the commercial fenestration/fabrication or aluminium/UPVC Windows sector
As a Sales Estimator, you will ideally have knowledge of local authority window replacement procedures.
You will have good communication skills and problem solving skills.
You will be self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
You will be team focus and sales orientated.
My client were established in 1978 and has been a servicing the construction industry with the supply and installation of initially aluminium window and door products, following with PVC-U products in the 1980s.
They provide a wide range of services for all glazing requirements across the UK mainland.
