Due to growth, my client is seeking a Sales Manager to work from their office in Ashford, Kent to take responsibility for the delivery of their National Citizen Service contract in to Schools and Colleges across the South East.
We are looking for a Sales Manager to proactively secure student placements on to the National Citizen Service contract. You will manage and develop positive working relationships with both internal and external contacts.
In the role, the Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving targets and performance indicators by engaging with local delivery partners, schools and colleges in order to sign up young people to the National Citizen Service programme. You will responsible for attending assemblies, meetings and parent evenings to evaluate and address sales performance.
You will also be given the opportunity to grow and develop a team around you as your role progresses.
The successful candidate for the Sales Manager role will:
- Have experience of working in a charity or public sector role
- Have evidence of young people related training including CPD in Safeguarding
- Be experienced in working in partnership with education providers, parents and young people
- Have experience working in a sales or recruitment orientated role
- Due the nature of the role be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed (previously CRB)

The Basic Salary for the Sales Manager role is up to £28,000. In addition the company offers additional benefits including a £2,000 bonus, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing to 29 days after service, a company pension 4% matched which will rise to 10% if you contribute 7.5%. A pool car is available for visits and you will receive a mobile phone and laptop.
