My client has a fantastic opportunity for a new business focused Sales Manager to join them. Previous experience of dealing with AI Platform based products and services would be highly desirable, however not essential. You must be able to evidence previous experience of managing partner sales and ideally have an accessible contact network.
Earning potential for the Sales Manager is exceptional; a competitive basic of £68k – £72k is on offer, with OTE being well over £110k. You must be driven by new business and have the entrepreneurial spirit to join a rapidly growing, new start up business.
I am looking for a Sales Manager to be responsible for selling the companies AI Software Platforms and premium cognitive technology systems.
A lot of your time will be spent out in the field, so home working is possible with one day a week to be spent at the Head Office in Northampton.
This is a sales position! You will be joining a relatively new business, my client are looking for a hands on Sales Manager. You must be confident in doing new business sales calls, finding out who the decision makers are and you must be comfortable in having conversations about Technology based services and products.
The Sales Manager will be able to build relationships and communicate the benefits of the products and services that my client have to offer as well as recognising the needs of the clients and identifying cross sell opportunities
You will be selling in to an array of industry sectors, so being able to adapt your style to suit your audience is essential.
The successful Sales Manager will:
- Be technically minded and be able to pick up technical products/solutions that you can relay and demonstrate to prospective clients
- You will ideally have SAAS/AI Platform sales experience or at least a good understanding of this sector
- Have experience of working in a sales/new business development capacity in a similar sector
- Be hungry, flexible and extremely ambitious
- Have a consultative approach to sales and able to manage the whole sales process from generating appointments, holding a meeting, demonstrating products/solutions to sales aftercare
The salary on offer will be £68,000 – £72,000 basic, depending on your experience. Your OTE for your first year could be in excess of £100k, with masses of potential to exceed this if you have the right attitude. You will receive paid business travel expenses, a phone and a laptop and generous holiday entitlement.
