Business Development Manager (Kitchens)
£18000 + OTE £25000 + Company Car

This client is one of the UK’s leading kitchen companies. Operating via a country wide network of branches they are looking for some new talent to help generate new business.

They want someone who is target driven and willing to work hard, previous retail sales experience is required, preferably within the kitchen or bathroom industry.

The Role
The main purpose of the BDM role is to generate potential leads, maximise sales opportunities and maintain effective relations with existing customers for business growth.

In expanding the trade account base, the jobholder will spend the majority of time on the road proactively establishing and growing new business by making on-site visits to existing, potential and non-trading customers, and providing all customers with the highest level of service.

The job holder forms part of a team within the store, supervised by and reporting directly to the Store Manager. Each store forms part of a geographical network within a region of the country, this one being Oxfordshire

The Candidate
The Business Development manager must have a proven track record in retail sales – ideally from the kitchen or bathroom sector. You must also have a full UK driving licence but it’s your people skills that really count.

Whilst knowledge of CAD packages is required, it’s teamwork, people skills and customer service skills that are key to be successful in this role.

You must also demonstrate a willingness to work hard and a desire to hit targets as well as being both friendly and enthusiastic.
