One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit a Secretary at their London office. You would be responsible for providing an excellent standard of organisational, secretarial and administrative support to the Audit Department.
The ideal candidate will be supremely well organised with experience of providing high quality administrative support within a large national firm. Quick and accurate typing skills are essential, ideally minimum 60wpm, as well as an in depth knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You must be able to demonstrate effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload appropriately, plus an excellent eye for detail and a methodical and professional approach. You will be a strong communicator with good IT skills with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities will include proactive diary management, making appointments for staff and ensuring Managers’ diaries are kept up to date’ assisting in fee preparation and processing as required, ensuring the CRM is consistently up to date; fielding telephone enquiries and liaising with clients, plus dealing with all incoming post, scanning and filing documents, drafting and amending Audit Plans and Findings Reports, plus obtaining information from Companies House and Fame websites.
