Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 + Excellent Benefits
One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit an accomplished Secretary for their Birmingham office. You would be responsible for providing enthusiastic, efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to staff within the company’s Restructuring and Recovery department.
Key responsibilities will include extensive diary management and travel arrangements as required by the Partner and management team; taking, typing up and circulating minutes from internal meetings, as well as typing up correspondence, reports, draft letters, presentations and proposals. You will field telephone enquiries and deal with all incoming mail, maintain electronic and paper filing systems, as well as handle other ad-hoc administrative tasks as and when required.
You will also be tasked with assisting with the organisation and coordination of marketing events and activities, maintaining the CRM, conducting market research as well as supporting the team in developing target lists and data to support target initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and supremely well organised Secretary / PA with significant experience providing high quality administrative support within a large national firm. You will require audio typing skills and must have a copy typing speed in excess of 50 wpm. You will be able to demonstrate effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload appropriately, plus an excellent eye for detail and a methodical and professional approach. You will be a strong communicator with good IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
