We are looking for a qualified and experienced senior consultant to join a leading consultancy practice which acts for blue chip clients across the UK. This niche consultancy has a clear focus and excellent track record in assisting clients to maximise value from investment in their existing or new physical asset base.
You would join a team of experienced, ambitious and forward-looking Consultants and Engineers and will be an integral part of the senior team and the ongoing development of the business.
This is a permanent full-time role offering an attractive salary dependent on your level of experience, £46,000 – £71,000. Package also includes car allowance, healthcare package, bonus scheme, plus a challenging and rewarding working environment.
Projects vary in nature, scope and objectives but the central task is delivering advice to clients in order for them to extract maximum value from proposed capital equipment spend and existing assets. This might be advice in product specification/placement/configuration, a wider review of options/alternatives or in supporting the organizational change required to deliver anticipated benefits.
As an experienced Asset Management practitioner you will have a high level of client contact and be an integral and senior member of the project delivery team. Specific responsibilities will differ on each project, which typically cover areas such as development and implementation of Asset Management Frameworks and Target Operating Models, leading data capture and analysis, fault and root cause analysis, running/facilitating workshops, financial/operational modelling and reporting (via meetings, presentations and written reports). You will be leading projects, managing the overall client relationship and supporting business development.
o Qualified to degree or postgraduate level in a relevant area. This could be Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace or similar), Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar
o Member of Institute of Asset Management, Institute of Mechanical Engineers, or similar organisation
o Experience leading the implementation of Asset Management improvement programmes for large clients, typically multi-site across multiple geographies
o Familiar with PAS55/ISO 55000 and have experience leading projects to optimise maintenance and performance using RCM, RCA, FMEA etc
o You will also have the personal qualities for clients to be comfortable with you as their principal point of contact and the ability to develop strong relationships and business with both existing and new clients
