My client, an established company with a unique and top quality product offering; an on line learning platform that is changing the way students study, are looking for a driven Senior Business Development Executive to join their existing team in South East London.
This company has seen huge success in recent years and subsequently are looking to increase their sales force by appointing a new Senior Business Development Exec. Selling a high quality, niche learning platform in to schools, colleges and universities, they have seen their client base double in a very short space of time.
As Senior Business Development Executive you will be responsible for selling the company’s range of online learning products – which include online lectures, workshops and other academic resources. With your target market being schools, colleges, universities and libraries, not only based in the UK but across the world too!
This is an office based Business Development role, it will not suit someone who wants to do just Account Managing – You will be cold calling and you will be working to sales targets. You will be joining a team of sellers in a vibrant office based in South East London.
The majority of your role will be phone based , however, you will still have the opportunity to meet with clients face-to-face as and when required to do presentations and demos of the products.
The successful candidate for the Business Development Executive role will:
• Have business-to-business sales experience selling in to the Education sector
• Will be of graduate calibre with a degree in English or performing arts as a preference (this is not essential) however, a passion for the arts, drama and/or English Literature would be highly desirable
• Be a driven, passionate sales person who is motivated by new business
• Be a people person, having the capability to build long lasting relationships at all levels
The basic salary for the Business Development Executive role is from £30k – £35k dependent on experience. In addition you can achieve OTE of £54k, 28 days holiday and clear career progression.
