Please note: In this position you’ll be required to work some weekends and occasionally work some shifts in unsociable hours.
In the Senior Care Assistant role you will be primarily responsible for providing a responsive flexible service to clients and their families, supporting them safely within their own homes. you will be part of a rapid response team providing support to clients and their families at short notice in the event of staff illness or absence.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Supporting people of all ages, with a wide variety of needs and personalities
- Completing contingency risk assessments, assessments and risk assessments for new and existing customers and emergency packages of care to maintain a ‘rapid response’ to customer need and ensure high quality support
- Maintaining accurate records on in house systems, to support with patient and family carer case management and contribute to contractual reporting requirements
This is a field-based role covering the Norfolk region, so if field-based work doesn’t suit you please do not apply.
To be considered for the Senior Care Assistant role you will need to possess direct experience of community support, maybe from a domiciliary background. We also need you to have prior experience of providing hands on Care and Support to vulnerable clients.
Additionally, it’s crucial that you possess a NVQ level 2 in health & social care as a minimum.

The basic salary for the Senior Care Assistant role is £20,000 per annum for the perfect candidate.
You’ll also get the additional benefit of 28 days annual leave as well as the option to buy and sell annual leave with the role.
