An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Manager to join a leading care provider based in Cambridgeshire. You will be working for a charitable organisation that provides support to people with varied care needs. The hours for the role includes alternate weekend working and the position offers a competitive salary and a benefits package along with ongoing training and development.
As the Care Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of home and community based services with overall responsibility for the Hunts, Cambridge City & South Cambs locality teams. You will support the Registered Care Manager to ensure compliance with CQC regulations and be responsible for the line management of care staff. The main duties of the role include:
- To oversee the delivery of home and community based services
- Development of the services in line with the needs of vulnerable people and their carers
- Rota management
- Establish working relationships with external agencies and commissioners
- Management responsibility of the care team
The successful candidate will hold NVQ / QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You must be able to demonstrate professional experience of providing care for families, vulnerable adults and / or children. You will have experience of of supervising and developing care teams and as the role does require some travel you will need to have your own transport.
The role is based in a charitable organisation that provides a range of care services to adults and children in community and home based settings. They support service users with a range of needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, dementia and end of life care.
