This successful and well-established boutique professional surveying organisation, seek a QS to work from their West Midlands office covering National Construction Projects.
This client facing role will oversee and control the management of projects up to £50 million in value.
Projects will be new build, refurbishment and fit-out work in the leisure, retail, industrial, health, education, offices and the public sector.
This is a prestigious role, working in a team of 7 dealing with multiple jobs. You will report to the Director of the company and will be required to travel to sites occasionally when required.
-Day to day tender documentation
-Measuring and pricing works
-Administration and CDM
-Managing up to 15 projects at a time
-Post contract work, re-measuring and variations.
The successful applicant must have a proven track record in a similar role working for a consultants practice or similar organisation in the construction sector.
Essential requirements for the role are a relevant construction qualification such as a Bsc Quantity Surveying, or a degree in Construction Management or Building Studies.
It would be desirable to be chartered or have a RICS or MRICS qualification.
