A well-established charity who offer support to people with learning disabilities and / or physical disabilities, via residential and community provisions throughout Manchester, are currently looking for a Service Manager to join their team to oversee 2 services.
The services cater for adults with complexed needs. What makes these services special is the residents have lived here for long lengths of time and are provided with a safe, warm and stable environment allowing them to truly call these ‘services’ homes.
The role of the Service Manager is to ensure the standard of care and quality within the services continues to strive, putting the resident’s welfare first.
You will be supported by an Assistant Manager at each home who will be involved in hands on care as well as the administration.
The organisation is looking for someone with previous experience within a similar role. Ideally they will hold the QCF Level 5, but this isn’t essential. You will need to demonstrate strong computer skills.
Overall, you will need to be a hands-on Manager, happy to provide physical and emotional support to the residents.
The ideal candidate will be organised, full of enthusiasm and passion.
