We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected client for a Service Manager to oversee the running of two registered care homes in the Harrogate area.
The well-established company are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to provide management and leadership across these services and in return will offer a competitive salary and excellent support. The two lovely homes cater for adults who have Learning disabilities and Mental Health needs and aim to provide a caring and happy environment.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
–Overseeing two registered care homes that cater for individuals with Learning disabilities and Mental Health needs.
–Ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures are fully and consistently implemented.
–Assisting in the recruiting and training of staff in order to develop the workforce to meet requirements.
–Ensuring that care plans are being effectively communicated to care workers and that workers understand their responsibilities and duties.
– Must have at least 3 years of management experience in a care environment.
–Must have an NVQ L4 or equivalent or be working towards this.
–Will have had at least 3 years’ experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities/Mental health needs.
A Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential for this position
