Location: Redruth, Cornwall
Are you passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities? If so, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to manage a brand new, purpose built scheme for people with learning disabilities in Redruth, Cornwall.
This is an exciting role and will give you the opportunity to be involved in the set-up and development of the service.
As a Service Manager you will ensure that your team provides high standards of support, which are based around the needs and choices of customers. You will be responsible for the day to day management of services, the supervision of a team of Support Workers, and for ensuring contracts are complied with.
Our client is a national organisation which supports over 5000 people with disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health conditions. The service is a purpose built development containing 16 spacious apartments for people with learning disabilities. The apartments will include state of the art technology to make life easier for their customers and the people who support them.
You will be an experienced Service Manager within a Learning Disability or Mental Health background. You will ideally hold a social care management qualification as well as a desire to deliver excellent care to vulnerable adults. Applicants will need their own transport and be able to work a varying shift pattern.
