We’re looking for talented Shop Assistants in Lincoln.

Please note: This is a part-time role, a variety of shift patterns and hours available, working days would include weekends but on a rota basis. Full details to be discussed at interview.
As the Shop Assistant you’ll report to the Shop Supervisor and will be primarily responsible for would playing a role in the smooth running of the Lincoln city centre shop, ensuring that all customers receive great products and a friendly service at all times.
You’ll also be tasked with the following:
– Opening and closing the shop
– Stock counting and cashing up
– Food preparation
– Ensuring the shop is clean, hygienic and welcoming at all times
To be considered for the Shop Assistant role you’ll need to be able to demonstrate a passion for delivering fast and friendly service, working as part of a team focused on delivering a fast and friendly customer experience.
In addition, it’s essential that you possess the following:
– Some experience within a customer facing environment, food or drink retail would be ideal but not essential
– Outstanding communication skills
– Strong numeracy skills, basic computer literacy and a flexible approach to working hours
You will also need to be an enthusiastic problem-solver who can manage change, communicate with people from all walks of life and constantly focus on customers.
You could be perfect for this opportunity if you have previously worked as any of the following: Sales Assistant, Shop Assistant, Team Member or as a Store Assistant.
Basic salary: £7.28 – £8.84 per hour depending on experience
