Site Manager (Joinery)
£55,000 per annum
As a result of recent expansion, an established joinery company seeks to recruit a Site Manager to manage a project based in London. Candidates who reside in Kent are ideal for this role as some travel to head office in Battle is required on occaision.
Your role as a Site Manager sees you tasked with looking after the Site including managing the foreman and sub-contract trades of joiners,installers,fitters. This includes responsibility for ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for the whole project from start to completion. This will include following a build programme, as well as adhering to health and safety requirements at all times. You will be responsible for the project to be completed within budget and on time.
Projects will be specialist joinery and fit-out refurbishments on behalf of main contractors and private clients in the London area. The value of the projects will vary from £100k up to £5.5 million schemes.
The successful candidate will have experience in a specialist joinery management role – ideally from within the joinery manufacturing and installation construction sector, although consideration will be given to those from other areas of the refurbishment and joinery construction market.
You must be a time served Site Manager or Project Manager with a CSCS card, SMSTS and driving license.
Being accredited to CITB SMSTP level and holding a first aid and PASMA certification is helpful.
