As a result of recent expansion, an established external steel building contractor seeks to recruit a Site Manager to supervise construction sites and run construction projects.
The role is based at Leominster office but is required to travel nationally to sites, sometimes involving early starts, late finishes and overnight stays.
Your role as a Site Manager sees you tasked with managing projects across Herefordshire involving structural steelwork from drawing board to completion.
The role includes:
Supervising contracted staff
Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
Maintaining quality control procedures
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
The successful candidate will have some experience in a Site Manager role – ideally from within the steel construction sector although consideration will be given to those from other areas of the metal fabrication and installation construction market including internal refurbishment.
It is vital that you have structural steelwork and cladding knowledge and ability to read drawings accurately
The role requires a CPCS appointed person for crane supervision and you must have a full driving licence
Established for over 25 years, this company employ over 20 people, have a turnover in excess of £5 million. They are seeking this brand new role to assist in further expansion of their steel building, roofing and cladding business.
