One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently looking to recruit a Social Media Specialist in London. Reporting to the National Website & Digital Manager, you would be responsible for managing and delivering all digital and social media activity, helping create and implement a strategy and policy framework across the business.

You would be tasked with executing all social media activities (tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking etc), managing the social communities on a daily basis, and ensuring the company remains at the cutting edge of this arena.
You will help grow online communities and social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, blogs and cruise forums, tracking all activity in a bid to support the company’s commercial ambitions. You will be expected to develop and manage an advocacy programme, identifying new advocates and building relationships with existing ones. You will also work with the Digital Communications team to create fully integrated and relevant digital marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate for the role will be a well-educated and intelligent marketing professional with proven experience working in a similar social media or online community management role. You will be passionate about social media and the opportunities it presents, and will be able to demonstrate good awareness of the latest innovations in this area. An excellent working knowledge of forums such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ is essential to the role, as is in-depth knowledge of digital and SEO techniques plus web analytics.
You will be a commercially aware individual with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, competent in planning and prioritising a varied and demanding workload, and able work on your own initiative as well as closely with a team. Excellent communication skills and a high standard of written English will also be required.
With almost 3500 partners and staff across 26 offices generating a fee income of over £300 million, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly exciting time.
