Job Title: Solutions Architect

Salary: £70,000 to £80,000

This is a rare opportunity to join an expanding Architecture team of a large and international company, helping design and deliver innovative systems for their heavily invested UK brands. The position will give you the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects involving passionate in-house development and project teams, alongside collaborations with stakeholders to deliver projects to the highest standard of quality and suitability to their needs, further strengthening their market-leading position.
The company is heavily supportive of developing your personal skillset and experience, providing the support and mentorship to develop you into an Enterprise/Solutions Architect alongside a major digital transformation program. They will also provide the funding to complete your TOGAF 9.2 training and certification within the first 12 months of employment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the companies UK initiatives, communicating with key business stakeholders to understand their project requirements and implementing appropriate technical solutions to meet their expansion and developmental needs. Furthermore, actively participating within your architecture team to identify areas of improvement and collaboratively implementing said improvements into practical solutions.
The company is supportive of flexible working, with much of the time in the role being worked remotely/from home, with some on-site work that may be needed from time to time.
Experience:
We are looking for a Technical or Solutions Architect with 2+ years’ experience in technical architecture, who will transition these skills/experiences into Enterprise Architecture. Key aspects of a successful Technical or Solutions Architect include:
- Experience in hybrid cloud environments and container technologies.
- Designing both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience in having a security mindset when implementing new solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, particularly Azure.
- An understanding of APIs and Microservices would be beneficial but is not a critical requirement for the role.
