Role: Solutions Engineer
Location: Birmingham / Hybrid
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000

Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative Solutions Engineer who enjoys a challenge and who looks for opportunities to make the best use of technology in problem-solving.
You will be working closely with the Senior Solutions Architect and the development team to design and develop software solutions.
What you will be doing…
You will be helping business areas understand and deal with change. You will be reviewing, identifying, and analysing areas for potential solutions and help define requirements for changes needed technically. You will create technical documentation and support development, test, and other teams with implementation plans.
What you will be responsible for is building and integrating technical products and services to meet the company’s needs. Assessing the systems architecture currently in a place where it relates to middleware, APIs, and Service Architecture; working with technical staff and partners to recommend solutions for improvement. Informing various stakeholders about any problems with technical solutions being implemented, suggesting alternatives, and mitigating risks. Provide supervision and guidance to development teams involved in change activities around these systems. Assessing and reporting on the business impact that certain technical choices have.
What Experience you will need…
- Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
- Some experience in project management
- Strong organisational and technical leadership skills
