Stores Supervisor (6 Months Rolling Contract)
Based in Twickenham, South West London
Salary circa £26,000 + Excellent Benefits
The UK’s leading and best-known food on the go retailer are currently looking to recruit an experienced Stores professional at their Twickenham site. Responsible for a team of circa 25, including Team Leaders, Stock Controllers and Operative, you would play a key role in the efficient delivery of a fast-paced Stores department. You would be expected to ensure all company procedures and legal requirements are adhered to, organising resources efficiently, including staff and product availability. As an individual with supervisory experience you would be tasked with motivating a team of operatives by managing performance, through training and development and maintaining a friendly, professional manner at all times.
You would be physically involved in the Stores operation, ensuring that the highest standards are met in order to meet internal customer demand and comply with all safety regulations. Hours of work would be 40 hours per week, 5 over 7 days, including weekends, predominantly 6am start times. 6 Months rolling contract.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an experienced stores / warehouse professional with significant experience leading teams and managing people within a similar environment.
You will be a confident, self-motivated and well organised individual with excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and influencing skills will also be required as will the ability work well under pressure and to deadline. Previous experience of the food industry would also be an advantage.
