In the Structural Engineer role you’ll report to the Head of Engineering and will be primarily responsible for inspecting, testing and reporting on the condition of a range of concrete civil infrastructure in rail, highway, marine and utilities.
Specifically you’ll be tasked with performing a range of access disciplines to undertake the testing – including rope, confined pace and even diving from time to time.
You’ll also be tasked with producing accurate, detailed and compliant reports of your inspections.
This is a field-based role covering the Bristol and South-West region, so if field-based work doesn’t suit you please do not apply.
To be the right person for Structural Engineer role you will need a background in structural inspection / testing – ideally in ‘hard to reach’ places.
You will need to both perform the various tests and reporting on them.
It’s vital hat you’ve had exposure to a variety of structures, load paths, materials and construction techniques.
It’s also important that you have IRATA level 1 or HSE part 3 (diving).

The basic salary for the Structural Engineer role is up to £35,000 per annum plus vehicle and a range of other benefits.
