Support Worker
Learning Disabilities / Mental Health
Salary: £17,202 per annum
Location: Edgware, London

Must have a drivers license (prefferabably with own car, but not essential)

We are currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to work within a small residential service based in Edgware.

The Position:
The clients within this service are mainly young males with complex mental health issues and learning disabilities.

Although they have disabilities, they try to lead as normal life as possible and they require a support team to ensure that they lead independent lives.

The position of support worker varies within this service but the successful candidate would be expected to take part / supervise a range of activities including: clubbing, extreme sports (sky diving, bungee jumping) and be able to go on holiday with client as / where agreed.

The Person:
You must be an experienced support worker preferably with learning disabilities. You will be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 2 standard with a desire to progress to a level 3. You will along be flexible with hours that are based on a rotating shift basis.
