Support Workers – Full Time / Part Time Learning Disabilities
Salary: £14,226 – £16,009 + £1,051 Location rate (pro rata)
(Casual rate £9.12 per hr. Sleep In rate £28 per night)
Shifts: Full time, Part Time and casual/bank

We are looking for caring, innovative, flexible individuals with a good sense of humour and excellent communication skills to work within the community enriching the lives of adults with Learning Disabilities.
The successful candidates will create and promote a supportive and caring environment, as part of a team, for adults with complex needs, learning disabilities and/or mental health problems. You will be supporting our customers to live the life they choose by providing practical assistance and emotional support. This is an interesting and varied role which includes supporting customers in the following areas; encouraging independence, medication, accessing healthcare and other relevant services, health and safety, tenancy, beneﬁts, ﬁnance, food and nutrition, personal care, monitoring and report writing, accessing community, care-planning and life-skills.
- Able to work on a rolling rota including weekends and public holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Work equally well in a team or lone working environment
