Support Workers – Part Time
Supported Living – Mental Health
Salary: £12,709.13 -£13,672.94 (£7,117.11 to £7,656.84)
Days: Monday to Friday (Occasional weekends)
Hours: 09:00 to 17:00 (Occasional Evening Shifts)
We are currently looking for a part time support worker to provide care and support to clients living within their own flat.
We are looking for caring, innovative, flexible individuals with a good sense of humour and excellent communication skills to work within the community changing the lives of vulnerable adults with Mental Health problems.
Clients using this service will need motivating to eat healthily, exercise and need emotional support. They will also need to be encouraged to go out shopping, walking and to attend different groups.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will work alongside an ever changing customer group, helping, rehabilitating and developing every customer you come into contact with.
Mental Health site with 10 independent flats (6 males, 4 females). Staff provide minimum support of around 3hpw per customer doing a mixture of tasks such as help with bills, general living and doing their shopping. One customer (male) is particularly interested in going to the gym.
• There is a preference for a male support worker as the scheme currently only has female staff and they know the male customers would relate to a man better.
• Flexible to work on a rolling rota and within a team
