A very well established Concrete Repair specialist is seeking to appoint a Technician to join the surveying team of their London operation.
The Survey Technician will work in a team to inspect, repair, strengthen and upgrade all types of buildings and structures.
The role will see you working very closely with the senior technician team both on site and in the office where you will be tasked surveying and investigation of buildings and structures and preparing documentation for reports.
Additional parts of the role maintaining site survey and test equipment and you will need therefore to be comfortable working at height.
You will also be prepared to work nightshifts and weekends when required, and be prepared to travel, throughout the UK and abroad.
A driving licence is therefore essential due to location of sites
The successful Survey Technician must have a background in and knowledge of natural materials engineering. This could be from a concrete repair background.
An appropriate foundation degree which may be in geology,civil/structural engineering or building surveying is required.
It is likely you will have worked within the construction industry for a Consultancy Engineering company or similar contractor.
You may also have worked as a Technician, Survey Technician, Materials Engineer or Structural Engineering Technician role.
