Sustainability Consultant – Energy and Sustainability

£45,000 per annum + Pension
This established energy and sustainability consultancy seeks a Sustainability Consultant to work as part of their existing building services team.
As Sustainability Consultant you will be responsible for a variety of building services sustainability projects across the UK.
Day to day duties will include:
– Sustainability Project management
– Sustainability certification (BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, Eco Homes and
LEED)
-Low and zero carbon technologies feasibility studies.
-SAP, SBEM, Part L assessments, involving thermal simulations
-Daylight and Sunlight assessments and Wind Modelling
-Provide sustainable solutions for planning applications
-Write technical and planning reports
The successful applicant must have a proven track record working for a consultancy as a Sustainability Consultant.
The role would suit an experienced Sustainability Consultant with an interest in low carbon design.
You must have a Masters` degree in environmental design.
You will have experience in Dynamical thermal simulation modelling software (preferably IES VE).
It would be benefitial to have experience with AutoCAD, SAP, SBEM, IES PRM module, Ecotect, RETScreen or EnergyPlus.
