An exciting position has come available for a Team Leader for a leading organisation specialising in Autism and learning disabilities.
The organisation is continually recognised for its therapeutic and individual approach to supporting adults of all ages.
The right candidate will be based in a home supporting younger adults who may display challenging behaviour. This role will be suitable for an experienced Support Worker wanting to take the next step up to Team Leader, or for an existing Team Leader wanting to work within a company who practise person-centred and holistic approaches. With opportunities of internal development/progression and continued training prospects, this is a company who will nurture and grow the successful candidate.
To qualify for this role, you will need to hold a minimum of a NVQ level 2 in Health & Social care, willing to work on a rota basis – including weekends, and sleep ins, and able to be part of an on-call system.
Some of the duties will include assisting the Manager with running the home, ensuring the residents are receiving the highest standard of support and empowering them to lead an independent life as possible. You will need to be part of making sure the Care Plans, Behavioural Plans, etc are up to date and adhered to at all times.
Due to the location – you will need to be a car driver with access to a vehicle.
