Our client are seeking a Team Leader for their 12 bed residential home based in Bournemouth that supports young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.

The role
As Team Leader you will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing the day to day running of the service, including ensuring rota’s meet requirements, support and incident records are accurate and implementing operating systems to meet policies and procedures
  • Supporting the delivery teams, including onsite coaching, mentoring, supervisions and support and risk plans
  • Promote and support inclusion throughout the service, including discussing employment opportunities and leisure options throughout the community
  • Maintaining effective communication systems within the service
  • Ensuring relationships are developed and maintained and promoting the company in a positive manner

The Person
We need someone who is bright, enthusiastic, engaging and constantly strives to be better. IN addition you will need

  • Experience as a support worker
  • Some supervisory experience
  • NVQ level 3 in Social Care or working towards it
  • Ideally some experience of working with young adults

The Package
£22,880 (for 40 hours a week) – you will need to be flexible and able to work occasional weekends
