Please note: In this position you’ll be required to work at weekends and work shifts in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.
The Role:
In the Team Leader role you’ll report to the Registered Manager and will be primarily responsible for providing an effective and safe care service for 21 adults with physical disabilities.
Specific tasks include:
– Ensuring rotas are in place to meet contracted hours
– Promoting and supporting inclusion throughout the service
– Creating and updating care plans and risk assessments
– Ensuring safeguarding regulations are adhered to
The Candidate:
To be considered for the Team Leader role you will need to possess direct experience of a Senior Support Worker capacity or Team Leader within a physical disability setting.
We also need you to have prior experience of:
– Updating care plans
– Supervising staff
– Managing rota’s effectively
– Creating and updating risk assessments
Additionally, it’s crucial that you possess a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Careand an enhanced DBS.
You’ll also need to be the following:
– Organised
– Able to motivate staff
– Someone striving for perfection

The Package:
The basic salary for the Team Leader role is between £24,900 – £24,960 per annum depending on experience. You can also earn overtime in this role.
