Learning Disabilities Residential Service
£16000 to £18500
Your main objective is to provide support and leadership across a residential service ensuring that excellent care standards are maintained throughout. There are many tasks incorporated into the position of Team Leader, here are a few:
– Ensure service users are assessed regularly and a high standard of support is delivered
– To manage the support staff within your team
– Writing weekly rotas
– Conducting appraisals with staff
– Recruitment and retention of all support staff
As a Team Leader it is essential that you have worked with people with learning disbailitiues before and have some management experience. You will need to have NVQ level 3 or above in care, or equivalent. You will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability develop staff to their full potential.
