We’re looking for a highly motivational leader with experience of training, developing and getting a high level of performance from a telephone based sales team, to join our client in the position of Telesales Manager.

THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Director and based in the company’s Manchester office, the Telesales Manager will be primarily responsible for Managing a team of 15 sales people, your role will be to develop them and ensure that sales targets are achieved.
Specifically, in the job, you will also be responsible for:
– Devising, agreeing and implementing sales targets
– Coaching the sales team to achieve the best results
– Developing and implementing the overall sales strategy
– Managing the sales team, ensuring policies and procedures are ahered to, recruiting staff, performance management
– Monitoring competitor activities
THE CANDIDATE:
To be considered for the Telesales Manager role, you ideally will possess direct experience of training, developing and getting a high level of performance from a telephone based sales team.
In addition, it’s essential that you possess the following:
– Team Management or Leadership skills
– Good commerical acumen
– Ideally a previous background in B2C sales
– Strong people management skills
– Good collaborative working ability
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in one of the following roles:
Internal Sales Manager, Call Centre Manager, Call Centre Team Leader
It is likely candidates will be commutable to the office, including Manchester, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Stockport and Stretford
THE PACKAGE:
Basic salary: Up to £40000 per annum for the ideal candidate
An annual bonus of up to £ is available if the company hits certain targets.
