Trainee Architectural Technician- House builder
circa £20k+holidays+pension

Due to expansion, a national housebuilder have an immediate vacancy for a Trainee Architectural Technician to work in an existing drawing office team in Derby.

The Role:
As a Trainee Architectural Technician, you will work in an established design team working under the Architectural Manager.

Key responsibilities include:
-Provide design services and solutions on housing projects
-Present proposals and working drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD,
-Provide drawings for production teams for use on site
-Coordinate suppliers information from the approved key supply chain list

The Candidate:
The role would suit a recent graduate with a construction qualification or an experienced Architectural Technician from a house builder or similar architectural organisation or consultancy with housing experience.

You may have experience with residential projects and new build speculative housing including, detached or semi-detached homes and apartments.

You will be qualified with a construction design qualification or a HNC/HND in construction ideally.

It would be a benefit to have experience with BIM Software and Revit Architecture with minimum or Revit Essentials.

The Company:
A National House builder who build homes across the UK including Derbyshire. They produce detached, semi-detached properties and apartments on a speculative basis with some social housing schemes.
