Trainee Cyber Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for assured and confident Graduates to develop their skills and expertise within one of the UK’s leading businesses. You must be a talented and highly motivated 2:1 or above Graduate (IT, Business or Finance preferred) with a minimum of 280 UCAS points at A Level. You must have the ability to learn and adapt very quickly, and will be highly organised and able to work to tight timescales. You will require strong assessment skills plus excellent people skills and the confidence to talk and meet with people of all levels from clients’ organisations.
As part of a fast-paced team you would be tasked with providing a high standard of support to our IT Risk Consultants and Managers, helping ensure the timely and accurate delivery of a range of IT audit assignments. You will strive to help organisations meet their objectives by reporting on and assessing current IT processes and systems in order to minimise potential business risk. You will undertake less complex ISA audits with minimal supervision, understanding the requirements of each assignment and conducting the necessary planning and preparation, as well as assist Consultants with more complex audits.
You will have the opportunity to train with and learn from an experienced team as you gain qualifications to ultimately conduct audits yourself. From the start, you will be challenged by varied and interesting work while gaining hands on experience with colleagues working at client sites. You will train towards the PIIA and CISA qualifications and will develop your auditing skills to deliver accurate reports within tight timelines.
Opportunities exist across our offices in the North West; Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Stoke, and Preston. Regular travel will form part of your role, so a full UK driving licence and car will be required.
