Job Title: Trainee Graduate .Net Web Applications Developer
Location: Sheffield and Doncaster
Salary: £18,000 to £20,000

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with knowledge of development within ASP.Net and either C# or VB.net gained at University to join the development team of a well-known provider of online training and qualifications based in Sheffield.
Your forst three months will be spent at their head office in Doncaster where you will have to option to stay there or to work at their new offices close to Sheffield train station.
The team provide online systems to the business to support the functions of the organisation, and to support their customers through Business To Business applications. These are in-house, .net web applications.
The Development team currently consists of 3 developers and a development manager. The Development team are currently in a transition period, working across both the existing ‘legacy’ systems built using early versions of the .net framework, and newer solutions being developed in the cloud using C# and ASP.Net, MVC5 and AngularJS.
You will work in both areas providing you with the opportunity to learn and use the latest .net technologies in an agile development environment.
Key Experience Required
You will be a graduate with an IT/Computing related degree with some practical knowledge of either VB.Net, C# or ASP.net gained during your studies or on a placement.
You will also get to work on their new technology platform incorporating MVC and Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
You will ideally have some understanding of the software development lifecycle, including knowledge of agile techniques such as Scrum however full training will be provided.
