Job Title: Graduate E-learning Designers/Developers
Location: Sheffield and Doncaster
Salary: Circa £17,000 to £20,000
Benefits: Pension

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates with experience gained at University in either e-learning course design or within development in JavaScript, HTML and CSS to join the team of a well-known provider of training and qualifications.

For the first three months you will be based at their head office in Doncaster for training before joining their fantastic new offices in Sheffield based close to the Station. You would have the option to remain in Doncaster should you wish.

The Roles

In the designer role you will be responsible for the instructional design of a number of e-learning courses which will be used by a variety of companies that access their Learning Management System (LMS) as well as larger blue chip clients that have their own LMS.

Working closely with their subject matter experts, you will come up with highly interactive Storyboards and exercises using Lectora for the development team to complete.

In the developer role you will be responsible for the development of a number of e-learning courses based on storyboards produced by the instructional design team that you will bring to life using your design and development skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

The role will involve using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to make the e-learning courses you develop as interactive and engaging as possible.

Key Experience Required

For the designer role as well as having a related degree you will be expected to have excellent writing skills and a passion for designing engaging and effective learning resources.

You should be able to demonstrate strong research skills and be able to effectively communicate ideas to a team of developers, project managers and subject matter experts.

For the developer role you will have a degree in a computer/software/multimedia related subject and you will have gained experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with the ability to create interactive activities.

We would also expect you to have good visual design skills with a good eye for detail

We are looking for someone commutable to Sheffield/Doncaster which would include: Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Worksop, Scunthorpe, Barnsley, Wakefield, Gainsborough, Retford and Goole.
