We’re looking for a talented Trainer to work for our client’s domiciliary care company.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of planning, developing, and delivering training courses.

The Role:
Based in the company’s Chertsey office, as the Trainer in a Domiciliary Care service you will be primarily responsible for utilising your skills and experience to positively impact the standard of care that the service users are provided with on a day-to-day basis. You will have to implement a variety of training techniques to suit different learning styles and introduce new ideas to further develop capabilities of the staff. This role also requires you to partake in the on-call rota 1 in 4 weekends.
In the job you’ll be tasked with developing and presenting training for the development of Health and Social Care staff, therefore for this role you must be a confident and personable individual.
The standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Trainer Domiciliary Care role will have relevant experience of planning, developing, and delivering training courses.
You’ll also need experience of applying a positive behaviour support approach and a professional training environment as well as in the homes of the service users.

In addition, you’ll need the following:

  • Proven training experience in a variety of health and social care topics including the care certificate, manual handling, basic life support etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, written & oral.
  • Experience previous within a similar setting.

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

  • A confident and articulate communicator to provide care staff with training at a high standard
  • Passionate about promoting independence
  • Confident to work on your own initiative

The Package:
Basic salary: £23,000 – £25,000 per annum
