Trainer / Training Manager
£20,000 – £23,000 Full Time (4 days a week is possible)

I’m currently looking for a Trainer / Training Manager in Manchester to deliver in-house training for a Social Care provider. You’ll be based in Manchester and although you’ll have regular travel to 5 other sites none are more than 30 miles away, which means no overnight stays or endless hours on the motorway.

The Role

You’ll be working as the Training Manager, managing one other trainer. As it’s a small team you’ll also work as a Trainer delivering training courses as well.

Specifically you will;

– Deliver a range of Mandatory Training courses specific to the Health and Social care sector, to the company’s employees. These will include; Health and Safety, Infection Control, Person-centred care and support etc.
– Evaluate the feedback from each course
– Manage the e-learning system and marking
– Management of the QCF process – the qualifications are delivered and assessed by external training providers but you’ll be the main point of contact with the Assessors to ensure all employee’s complete a QCF level 2 or 3
– Keep abreast of current legislation in the health and social care sector and how it affects training requirements, updating /amending training where needed

The Candidate

The ideal person for the Training Manager role would be;

– An experienced Trainer / Training officer in the Health and Social Care sector
– Somebody who is passionate and enthusiastic about training and this comes across in their presentation skills
– Someone with excellent organisational skills
– Happy and competent at line-managing a trainer and completing training administration
– You’ll need a training qualification such as PTTLS, DTTLS or Train the Trainer
