Training Manager – Tax
Salary: £58,000 – £62,000 + Excellent Benefits
As one of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies we are currently looking to recruit an innovative and influential Training Manager. You would be responsible for planning, writing and delivering exceptional and professional practical tax training nationally, playing a key role in helping develop the individuals responsible for our ongoing success as one of the world’s leading professional services providers.
Reporting to and working closely alongside the National Training Manager, you would be tasked with planning and writing a programme of high quality, business driven training courses primarily for our tax faculty, delivering courses to all grades, student through to partner. On the student side you would be responsible for managing tax student training and delivering tax, book keeping and development courses to students in all faculties. You will also be involved in technical training team initiatives such as mobile learning and customisation of our Learning Management System. Depending on the training need you will be expected to develop not just classroom-based solutions but alternative and more appropriate methods of training when required, plus continually review all training material and initiatives to ensure a practical application to the business as well as technical accuracy.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and proactive individual with a thorough understanding of tax qualifications and institutes, looking for an opportunity to play an active role in guiding and mentoring professionals. Experience designing and delivering training would be an advantage however accomplished tax professionals interested in putting their expertise to use in a training and development capacity will be considered. The role will be home-based however regular travel will be a feature of the role, therefore a flexible approach to working hours and travel will be required.
You will be well-organised with excellent commercial awareness, plus strong communication and presentation skills.
