We’re looking for a talented Unit Manager to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of supporting people with mental health, drug or alcohol abuse issues.

Please note: In this position you’ll be required to work some weekends and occasionally work some shifts in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.

The Role:
As the Unit Manager you’ll report to the Registered Manager and will be primarily responsible for leading a unit that supports 10 adults with mental health and associated conditions.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Managing medication
– Working closely with the Registered Manager
– Leading a team of Support Workers
– Rota management
– Carrying out supervisions

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Unit Manager role will have relevant experience of supporting people with mental health, drug or alcohol abuse issues.
You’ll also need experience of restraining people as well as supervising and leading a team.
In addition, it’s essential that you possess a NVQ level 3 in social care and qualifications in restraining people, and you will need to be confident and competent in your role.

The Package:
Basic salary: Up to £30,000 per annum for the ideal candidate
Overtime: You’ll also have the opportunity to earn additional overtime in this role
